क्षमा शस्त्रं करे यस्य
दुर्जनः किं करिष्यति ।
अतृणे पतितो वह्निः
स्वयमेवोपशाम्यति ॥

What can a wicked person do to someone who is equipped with the weapon of forgiveness? Fire fallen on a grassless land gets extinguished by itself.

Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them more.
There is no revenge as sweet as forgiveness.
