As you sow, so shall you reap

यथा धेनुसहस्रेषु
वत्सो विन्दति मातरम् ।

Even in a herd of thousands of cows, a calf recognizes its mother easily. In the same way, all previous deeds always follow the doer.

A calf can find its mother cow
Among a thousand kine.
So good or evil done, returns
And whispers: 'I am thine'
