Idleness is the root of all evil

अलसस्य कुतो विद्या
अविद्यस्य कुतो धनम् ।
अधनस्य कुतो मित्रम्
अमित्रस्य कुतः सुखम् ॥

How can one attain education, if he is lazy?
How can one acquire wealth, if he is uneducated?
How can one make friends, if he is not wealthy?
How can a person without friends, be happy?

Idleness is the root of all evil.
An idle brain is devil's workshop.
